What is Ready To Work?

The Ready to Work Job Placement program is focused on recruiting, training and placing candidates with employers in your area.  

This Job Placement program includes the following steps:

STEP 1

Register for the 3-Part Job Training program on your local employer Recruitment Page.  

After you register, you will receive an email with a Welcome Letter that includes your credentials to access your secured Job Placement Portal. 

STEP 2

After registering, candidates have the ability to complete a FREE (No Cost) 3 Part Job Training program that includes:

  • Online Course (Required) – To be completed self-paced, on your own, at a time convenient for you.

  • Instructor Lectures (Optional, not required) – Candidates have the option to participate in up to 5 Instructor Lectures presented online by healthcare professionals. The goal of these Instructor Lectures is to ensure you have the necessary support to complete your Online Course and that you are successfully progressing towards job placement. The schedule of upcoming Instructor Lectures can be found by accessing your secured Job Placement Portal.   

  • Hands-On Labs (Required) – Candidates are required to attend 2 Live Hands-On Lab Sessions which are scheduled conveniently in your local area. The schedule of upcoming Hands-On Labs in your area can be found by accessing your secured Job Placement Portal. 

STEP 3

Upon completion of your 3 Part Job Training program, a Ready To Work Advisor, will work with you individually to complete the following:

  • Resume – Your advisor will work with you to finalize your resume to ensure your work history, education and other important elements are included in your resume.  

  • Open Job Position Review – Your advisor will work with you to identify the open positions and locations that you would like to apply for job placement.

  • Application Submission – Based on your review of the open positions you would like to apply for, your Ready To Work Advisor will work with you to finalize your application submission and help you apply for the jobs that are of interest to you.   

  • Application Tracking and Follow-Up – After you have applied, your advisor will work with the hiring employer to ensure your application is being quickly reviewed including updates on future interviews, phone screenings, background checks and other items necessary for your job placement.
